FESTIVAL OF WESSEX 2026 • 46 TIM KLIPHUIS TRIO Beaminster Festival The 29th Beaminster Festival features the usual mix of top quality music, including the Fibonacci Quartet, Ariel Lanyi, Coco Tomita, the Scott Brothers Duo, together with Sounds from Stage and Screen , the Tim Kliphuis Trio, Kathryn Roberts and Sean Lakeman, and Not the Rolling Stones! Unusual shorter concerts include Dancing through Time by Flutes and Frets, a double bass recital from Levi Andreassen, violinist Harriet Mackenzie performing with Morgan Szymanski, and Lucy Stevens as Kathleen Ferrier. Literary events include Nigel Planer’s Young Once , John Kampfner’s Braver New World , and Chris Chibnall talking about his career and the place of the Dorset landscape in his books. Talent in the Town on 20th June allows locals to share their hobbies, skills, collections and interests.
