Exhibit A May and June 2025 3 James Lynch: Winter Flying Over Westbury White Horse Egg tempera on gesso panel (53.5 x 72.5 cm, 2024) ARTIST STATEMENT: “As a child I slid down the precipitous slope of the Westbury White Horse into the middle of its chalk belly and froze with fear. I still experience vertigo on steep slopes, but not when I fl y! I am a paraglider pilot in my spare time, free fl ying using thermals for lift. I often launch from Westbury. I included myself in this painting - I am under the white wing. I have a visceral relationship with the sky through fl ying, and it’s a wonderful way to see the landscape.
