Headlines May and June 2025 OSR Projects have announced the fourth edition of OD ARTS FESTIVAL, the biennial contemporary art festival taking place in Somerset from 23rd to 25th May. The festival was launched in 2018 by artist Simon Lee Dicker and graphic designer Chantelle Henocq and has previously featured artists including Sadie Hennessy, Tania Kovats, Jakob Kudsk Steensen, Sara Trillo, Zoe Walker & Neil Bromwich, and Bedwyr Williams. The theme for the 2025 iteration of Od Arts Festival is Thinking in Circles , which explores ideas of growth, production and consumption, locally in relation to the setting of East Coker and West Coker in This year’s selected artists include Emii Alrai, Vicky Putler and Rachel Dobbs, Groundmouth (Harry Martin and Milly Melbourne), Geoff Diego Litherland, Adam Chodzko, Yelena Popover, Chantal Powell, Ella Yolande, Dermot Punnett, Libby Bove, Mónica Rivas Velásquez, Jennifer Taylor, and Michele Atherton. Od Arts Festival 2025: Thinking in Circles 4 rural Somerset, and internationally in response to the global climate emergency. Thinking in Circles aims to acknowledge feelings of ecological grief and culpability in Western consumerist and colonial cultures, allowing artists, community residents and festival visitors to pause and discover alternative ways of thinking. Both celebration and critique of the rural, the 2025 festival features 18 artists and a collective presenting new and recent works across the historic villages of East Coker, immortalised in T S Eliot’s Four Quartets poems, and neighbouring West Coker.
